Centralized Asset Library
AuraDash includes a built-in media library that lets you manage your website’s visual assets in one place:
- Upload Once, Reuse Everywhere: Add images or videos once, and insert them easily into multiple articles, services, and page layouts.
- Unified Dashboard: View, search, and manage all your visual assets in a clean list and grid view.
Performance Optimization
Although AuraDash allows file sizes up to 25 MB, large files can degrade your page speed and harm search engine optimization (SEO):
- Compress images before uploading to maintain fast page load speeds.
- Use modern lightweight file formats such as WebP for optimal loading times.
⚠️ Public Access Warning:
The media library uses a public storage bucket (R2) to maximize loading speeds and optimize delivery costs. As a result, all uploaded files are assigned a public URL. Do not upload sensitive personal documents, IDs, or confidential contracts, as the generated links can be accessed by anyone.
Upload Process
Accessing the Media Panel
Navigate to the media panel using the dashboard sidebar:
- From the sidebar navigation menu, open the Settings panel.
- Select the Media option from the configuration list.
Uploading Visual Content
To upload new media files:
- Click the Upload New Content button in the media panel.
- Choose the file you want to upload from your local device.
- Wait for the upload to complete and index in your media library.
- Rename Files: Once uploaded, you can modify any file's name at any time by clicking the pencil icon next to its title.
⚠️ Permanent Deletion Consequences:
Deleting a media file is permanent and cannot be undone. If you remove an asset from the library, its URL breaks immediately. Any published articles, services, or homepage layouts referencing this media will display broken image links to your visitors.
📋 Supported Formats & Constraints:
The media uploader strictly accepts the following visual file extensions: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, MP4, and WebM. Files must not exceed the maximum size limit of 25 MB per file. Document formats (such as PDF or DOCX) are not supported.
Media Errors
Common Warnings & Upload Failures
The uploaded file exceeds the maximum allowed size limit of 25 MB. Compress your video or resize your image and try again.
This warning displays when renaming a file. The name field cannot be empty; you must provide a valid title for the media record.
The selected media record could not be found in the database. This occurs if another administrator deleted the file while you were viewing it.
